Grilled Pizza

EVERYBODY LOVES PIZZA, but turning on your oven in the summer for pizza is hard. We developed a pizza dough for your grill. It takes 20 minutes of prep and less than 10 minutes to cook. I like to make my own sauce so it takes me about an hour. The most important thing is the preparation before hand. Thaw your dough over night in the refrigerator, then 1 hour before you want dinner let it rest in the bag at room temperature. This is a good time to make your sauce. While that is cooking down prepare your toppings for the pizza. When everything is ready, your sauce, cheese and toppings or after an hour at room temp. your dough will be ready to be stretched. To stretch your dough put a tbsp. of olive oil on your counter and place your dough on top then roll it around and use your hands to cover it with oil, then place it on the counter and slowly press in the middle and push outward, repeat this until you have achieved the size and thickness of crust as you like. Place the crust on a cutting board and it's ready for the grill. Make sure your grill is very hot, 400 degrees is good. When you are ready place the dough on the grill as carefully as you can without burning your self and close the lid for 3 to 4 minutes, raise the lid and flip the crust over. Top with your sauce, cheese and toppings quickly then close the lid of the grill for 2 more minutes. Check to see if the cheese is melted if not close the lid for another minute or two. When the cheese is melted your pizza is ready.

For Conventional Ovens: Thaw your dough as above and let it warm to room temperature before prepping. Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees. Stretch your dough into an oval and place on a tray lined with parchment paper or an oven peel if you're using a baking stone. Top your pizza with your favorite sauce and toppings. Bake for 15 to 25 mins or until the crust is crispy.

All dough comes frozen in 14 oz. package. Enough for one large pizza.
